The Knox Fox Real Estate Group is an independent brokerage based in Farragut, helping people buy, sell and move to or within the Knoxville area. Meet co-founders Teri Jo Fox and Eric Whitener.

Our story
It started
at a tailgate.
Teri Jo was already in real estate; Eric came from mortgage lending. They began working on deals while dating, married in 2014, and went on to build a brokerage together.
2019
The Knox Fox opens.
In June, Teri Jo and Eric opened The Knox Fox Real Estate Group as an independent brokerage. The brokerage takes its name from Teri Jo Fox.
2022
A move to Kingston Pike.
Teri Jo and Eric celebrated the move to 11553 Kingston Pike with an October ribbon cutting.
2024
Introducing The Den.
Teri Jo and Eric introduced The Den, a podcast about housing and the greater Knoxville community.
Why they went independent
Room to run it their way.
After working together at a larger real estate company, Teri Jo and Eric wanted more control over their brand and direction. They set out to build the business around a smaller team of real estate professionals.

Where we work
Farragut is home base.
The office is on Kingston Pike in Farragut. The team serves clients in Farragut, Knoxville, West Knoxville and Hardin Valley.
