Listing details for 0 Spoon Hollow Rd, Rutledge, TN 37861 : Smoky Mountain views or lake views are often requested in a homesite. Rarely do you find them together! This spectacular homesite has long-range views of the Smoky Mountains and Cherokee Lake from a beautiful hilltop surrounded by a gently slopping hay field. As you explore the farm you will quickly realize why the seller was named ''Grainger Co Farmer of the Year'' in 2018 for this immaculate cattle farm. Describing the farm as ''detailed'' would be a disservice. A more accurate word is ''meticulous!'' There is a blue-line creek flowing gently through the farm (in addition to the spring), but the cows are not allowed in it. They drink from one of the 7 well water stations. There are 7 very solid creek crossings. There is no barbed wire on this farm. Move your cattle with ease as there are gates to each field and the facilities at the barns are very efficient. The main barn is over 100 years old and in great shape! Your about a half-mile from Cherokee Lake and just a little further to Cherokee Dam and the famous South Holston River (great trout fishing!). Pictures do not do this farm justice. Give me a call today to schedule your private farm tour in my comfortable and fun side-by-side!
